Dry Bones (sometimes Koopa Bones) is a enemy who was first appearance in Super Mario Bros. 3.

Origins

When Kamek saw the overwhelming Koopa casualties, he used dark magic to raise them back from the dead. Now, these troops are all but invincible and if they are broken apart, even if parts of their body fall into pits or lava, they always reform. They are also immune to fire.

Mario All-Star Sluggers

Dry Bones will appear in Mario All-Star Sluggers as a team member. He also has an alternate color in this game, Green Dry Bones. His stats are:

Running: 6/10

Green Dry Bones has slightly different stats. His are:

Pitching: 3/10

Catching: 4/10

Running: 8/10

A sub-species of Dry Bones, Dark Bones, also appears as a playable character.

Super Mario Adventure

Dry Bones appear in Super Mario Adventure as enemies. They act the same as in previous games, and only appear in Castle levels.
